Date Night

Scott and I went out on a "real" date that did not consist of just visiting with friends or walking around the block chatting up neighbors. Last Friday night, I got home to find Scott waiting for me. He basically told me we were going out and that this was non-negotiable. So, we enjoyed the fine dining of Carl's Jr and saw Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part II. What a great movie! Very well done and very limited violence, all things considered. When I say "limited", I mean *SPOILER ALERT* they did not focus too much on those who died. Even you-know-who's destruction was not morbid (I found myself breathing a sigh of relief). Parents, be forewarned: the B-bomb was dropped toward the end of the movie, just like in the book. Geek alert: I have to admit that I am sad all over again to know that there will be no more Harry Potter. True, there will be other stories to look forward to, but I don't think anything will be quite the same for me (gently wiping away my tears). Question is, now what?
