What about Murphy?

You know that unwanted house guest who grossly over stays his or her welcome? Well, his name is Murphy and not only has he overstayed his welcome at our house, he's looking to make himself a permanent presence. A few days after replacing the window motor, we had to replace our shattered rear window in the Trailblazer. And today, poor Cutie appears to have an infected eye that warrants a visit to the vet tomorrow. I'm sure that Murphy will be leaving soon or at least leave when Scott and I have learned patience and increased faith.

On a brighter note, my brother Alex and his fiancé Zena stopped in for a quick overnight visit during their move from Colorado Springs, CO back to Hayward, CA. Unfortunately, they had to make the tough decision to move back amongst some financial hardship they've experienced. But we're sure that they will get back in their feet soon enough and it sure was fun staying up late and gabbing with them!

My fever is slowly getting better, it has not climbed higher than 99 degrees and comes around less frequently. Horray for progress!
