Kevin Lee Johanson 1977-2012

We actually have a couple of updates to post about, but I thought that this one warranted its own posting. On Wednesday, June 20th, our dear friend Kevin passed away suddenly. He would have been 35 years old in October. As of this date, we do not know exactly how he died, but that doesn't matter. What matters is that we love him and we are missing him terribly.

I had the pleasure of his friendship for over 11 years. He and Scott were best friends for about 20 years, since high school. I'll always remember Kevin for his kind-hearted, albeit mischevious ways. He was a prankster. A practical joker, but all in a fun, loving sort of way. But when it came down to business, he was a real go-getter and there wasn't anybody that he wasn't willing to help. No questions asked, no hesitation.

I find a great deal of comfort in knowing that Kevin is not alone, but that he is is in better hands, having been called home and back to the loving arms of his Heavenly Father. I find joy in knowing that his spirit lives on and that he is continuing his work on the other side and that one day, his spirit will be reunited with his body in a more perfect form, free of disease and not subjected to death.

For those who do not believe as I and my family do, that's alright. We'll believe enough for all of you.
