I am working from home until this darned cough goes away. I'm ashamed to admit that this was not my idea, my boss asked me to because apparently I've become pretty disruptive around the office (my words, not his).
With that being said, I could get used to telecommuting. While I telecommute temporarily, I save about 26 miles worth of auto fuel, time travel, and wear and tear on my car each weekday. I also have descreased my chances of getting into an auto accident/collision. This also means that I can start work earlier and end earlier, should I so desire. I am set up with an IP phone through my computer and have Live Messenger installed, so I can still communicate with others at the office (not that there are many people left, most of the admin staff has transitioned to working from home). So far, so good! I guess only time will tell on how I feel about telecommuting and if this could end up to be long-term.
My cats don't seem to mind either.
