Happy 2012!

Another year come and gone and to tell you the truth, I'm not sad to see it go even though that means I have to admit that I'm gradually getting older (in years only, certainly not in maturity!). We do not have any extravagant celebrations planned other than our usual, play games, watch movies, and EAT! However, I do plan on watching Rockin New Years Eve with Ryan Secrest because I heard that Justin Bieber would be performing (must to Scott's dismay). Yes, I am a BELIEBER. I am 32 years old and proud of it!

I only have one resolution for this next year: to start our Total Money Makeover courtesy of Dave Ramsey. I don't know if we'll have all the steps completed by the end of 2012, but I will aggressively put all my effort, time, and money into this plan so that we can get our finances in order (I'm in charge of the checkbook and budget, so Scott's role will be more supportive). I'm hoping that with time, more motivation will come. An object in motion...

Other than that, I do not have any other resolutions. I may set some goals throughout the year, but that will be determined on an as-needed basis and only then at a one day/one step-at-a-time basis. Why risk disappointment by overwhelming myself?

I hope that you all have a fun and safe New Year celebration and wish you a prosperous year filled with lots of joy.
