I was lucky enough to get free tickets to see Harry Potter on Saturday, which, I will say, did not disappoint me at all. Many fans have said that this is probably the best one yet; however, I'm not sure that I can say that as I really have enjoyed almost all of them equally. Never the less, the film was done very well, the writers and directer really stuck with the main plots of the story and the special effects were outstanding. Scott did not like the movie or more the ending I should say, because of the cliffhanger type ending that the book had, which means that the next movie will likely cut out all the formalities of ending summer vacation and dive right into the action just as in book seven. So, instead of having an ending where one can breath a sign of relief before the next movie, we have an ending where one just takes a deep breath in anticipation for the next. I am pleased to hear that book seven will be made into two movies. Of course, this is a fabulous way to make yet more money; however, I felt like there was a lot going on in the book that could really make or break the film if anything was cut out or not cut out properly. So, movie number seven will be out next Summer and movie number eight, the conclusion, will be out next fall or winter. I have to admit that I was kind of depressed when I finished reading book seven because this is the longest book series I have ever read and I kind of feel like I'm losing a part of myself! I know, silly, but after I was done reading the book, I asked myself what do I do now? Oh well, at least I still have Twilight! LOL
