Kristen is enjoying what will (probably) be her last two days of freedom off of school. She was scheduled to begin her next class (Public Administration) this past Tuesday, but the class was pushed back to Tuesday, August 19th due to lack of enrollment. So, she has been trying to enjoy her free time after work by reading the last of the Twilight books and finished earlier today. It was a good ending to the saga, all the loose ends were tied up, which is what should be done when ending a series like this (Kristen thinks, at least). She is looking forward to future books written by Stephenie Meyer and will likely start on the fourth book of the Septimus Heap series.
It was another slow week at work, so Kristen took advantage of her down time by getting a head start on her school reading for next week. Not the greatest reading material, but it serves its purpose. Scott worked 18 hours of overtime this week up in Park City. He is saving this extra money to put toward a shotgun that he wishes to purchase, something that Kristen really doesn't have any desire to use. We also mutually decided to downgrade our cable from digital to basic because of some mild financial constraints. We experienced a power bill over $200 this past month and that, combined with upcoming medical expenses from Kristen's surgery, is what finally made us arrive at this decision. We have, instead, replaced cable with a Netflix account which will enable unlimited movies through the mail and through our computers.
