Scott and I saw Wall-E on Saturday and I must say, it was a lot better than that I thought it would be; it was a very cute movie. Would young children enjoy it? Probably because of the cute robot noises and actions that are made, but they would not understand the plot at all. That's OK though. We made it to Sacrament meeting on Sunday (two weeks in a row!) and came home right afterward because my stomach was giving me lots of grief. I slept for a few hours and then got up to watch Camp Rock while Scott took his nap. I'm a huge Disney channel buff and needless to say, I really enjoyed the movie. I can see why teenage girls like the Jonas brothers; they are cute kids! Am I ashamed to say that I really enjoy stuff like this? No, not at all. This is how I keep my youth. After Scott woke up, we played a round of Stratego and two games of Phase Ten. I actually came out on top overall and for once! I'm pretty bad at strategy games and don't usually have the best of luck when being dealt cards.
I'm excited for this week because it is a three-day work week for me. I accrued enough comp time at work to earn most of a day off and decided to make it a full day by using a little bit of vacation. So, I will be taking a four-day weekend for the 4th of July. I haven't decided what I will do with my extra time without Scott (he only gets a three-day weekend).
