Easter 2009 and General Update

We had a nice Easter weekend. On Saturday, Scott and I had lunch at Chili's and then watched movies. Sunday evening we went over to his parents for Easter dinner, which also included the lovely Hymas family. The kids each got Easter baskets filled with lots of goodies including DVD's, which Aiden was very excited to show me. After dinner, Nae and I watched a few trailers of movies that we are looking forward to seeing after they come out (most of them will likely be on Netflix). The remainder of the weekend was spent wrapping up my final paper for my Public Finance class. I officially now only have three more classes to go and if all goes well, those classes will be completed by the end of September.

This next weekend may be more productive if I can get my act together. I would like to take my car in for its 60,000 mile service (which will cost and arm and a leg, but if it will help keep my car working for a long time, then so be it) and I'd also like to try and tag along at th emergency preparedness fair that Lynnae and mom's ward is putting on (or maybe stake?). Then later, Kevin and Kelsie have invited us over for a lovely Chicken Parmesean dinner and maybe movies or games. Scott hasn't seen their cute apartment yet, so hopefully that will work out. Or I could just blow everything off and be lazy...we'll see!
