Happy 2009

Our celebration, this year, was a complete bust. We were both in bed by 9:30 pm! Kristen worked overtime and was very busy all day, not even stopping to take a lunch break. We just took that as a sign that we needed the extra sleep. New Year's morning, we went over to Scott's parent's house around 11 am for a little family new year celebration with extended family. We ate, drank, and were merry, but in an appropriate way of course! Scott's cousins from Texas were even able to make it, so it was a nice little reunion. We got back home a little after two where Kristen continued to play Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix on the 360 and Scott dutifully checked on all of his Myspace games. We watched a couple of movies that we checked out from Netflix and then called it another early night (hopefully, we are not coming down with anything). Later today, we are having dinner at La Puente with Scott's family and will head on over to their house to watch the Utes play at the Sugar Bowl. After that, who knows? (Three guesses: sleep, sleep, and sleep!).

So far, Scott still has a job to go to on Monday and Kristen is expecting it to be very busy with updating last minute education records and starting the quest of member suspensions. It is a new year that will be filled with new opportunities for all. Happy 2009!
